What we do

From gap analysis to approval, and beyond

Every engagement follows the same tested process, scaled to the level you need.

  • Membership levels

    Entry Level DISP

The baseline tier, and the right fit for most of the Defence supply chain. Approval clears your organisation for information up to and including OFFICIAL: Sensitive.

  • Membership levels

    Level 1 DISP

An expanded scope to meet Defence’s additional requirements. Approval clears your organisation for information up to and including PROTECTED.

  • Membership levels

    Level 2 DISP

A considerable expansion of scope for organisations deeply embedded in Defence work. Approval allows you to store and handle SECRET information and take part in classified procurement.

  • Membership levels

    Level 3 DISP

The highest tier, for organisations working on the most classified technologies, operations and Defence works. Approval clears your organisation for TOP SECRET information.

  • Consultancy services

    DISP gap analysis

Every engagement starts with a complete audit of your existing processes across the four DISP domains: governance, personnel, physical and cyber security.

  • Consultancy services

    DISP documentation development

We write the policies, processes and plans your organisation needs to meet Defence’s requirements for identifying, assessing and managing security risk.

  • Consultancy services

    Application lodgement

Incorrect lodgement costs companies time and contracts, and can lead to a rejected application. We prepare and lodge your application and handle Defence’s questions.

  • Consultancy services

    CSO and SO training

DISP obliges members to keep their Chief Security Officer and Security Officer trained. We train both roles and support them as obligations come up.

  • Consultancy services

    Compliance maintenance

DISP membership comes with ongoing obligations. Our maintenance support complements your internal team and reduces the load on senior executives.

  • Consultancy services

    Insider threat awareness program

Insider threat awareness training is part of every Entry Level engagement. We set up a program your staff complete and your SO can run.

Questions

DISP, answered

What is DISP?

The Defence Industry Security Program supports Australian businesses to understand and meet their security obligations when working on Defence tenders, contracts and projects. It is a tiered membership program covering governance, personnel, physical and cyber security.

Who is eligible for DISP membership?

[Draft] Your business must be incorporated in Australia, hold an ABN, have someone able to obtain a Defence security clearance, and be financially viable. We confirm your eligibility in the first consult.

Which DISP level do I need?

In our experience, Entry Level is sufficient for most companies in the supply chain. Level 1 suits companies that want to self-sponsor security clearances, and Levels 2 and 3 suit organisations working on classified projects. We confirm the right level in your initial consult.

How long does it take?

[Awaiting typical timeframes per level from the business.] Every project has a predictable timeline agreed up front, with weekly or fortnightly progress meetings.

Book a complimentary initial consult

We will confirm whether DISP suits your business and which level you need, with no obligation.
